Jack and Jensen met in September of 2021 at the local college bar just across the street from WNE. When waiting to order their usual Saturday pitchers a casual conversation led to dancing and the exchanging of phone numbers. Jensen and Jack went on their first date to Frontera (Springfield's finest Mexican food establishment) where the conversations and laughter lasted until the two were asked to leave so the staff could finish closing the restaurant. After Jack's very official "five date rule" he asked Jensen to officially be his girlfriend as the two left apple picking on October 16th, 2021.

From then forward Jack and Jen spent as much of their free time together as they could tolerate. Their friend groups grew close as they soaked in all that senior year had to offer. Eight months later in May 2022, it was time to walk across the stage and into the start of their long distance journey.

After leaving Western New England Jack and Jensen headed back to their respective ends of New York State. They would spend the next 12 months long distance as Jack moved to West Virginia in August and then to Texas 5 months later -doubling their distance while Jensen finished earning her Master's degree in Albany.

During their time apart Jensen traveled to visit on every school break or long weekend available and they adopted their first fur-baby Ramsey. Jensen graduated from her Master's program the following May with Jack and Ramsey cheering her on from Texas.

At the end of June 2023 Jensen packed her Toyota RAV4 to the brim loaded in and made the 27 hour, two day road trip move from Whitehall NY to Waco TX. Jensen started working with Special Olympics Texas as Jack hit 6 months working with Baylor University.

In their time together the couple has shared milestones big and small. Their first holiday season together, work promotions, adopting their two fur babies, lots of travel, the purchase of their first home and now an ENGAGEMENT!

The best is yet to come for Jack and Jen as they continue to walk through this life together.
